Advent Blip - Day 24 - Christmas Eve

Well, it's here. Christmas Eve and the final day of my Advent Calendar project. It's been great fun as well as being a challenge at times but it's given my blips a focus for over three weeks. There's been times I would have definitely been blipping other pictures, especially with all the fantastic snow we've had the past week for example, but I can get back to that now.

This blip is a bit of a throwback to my own memories of Christmas as a kid and the great Christmas TV specials we used to have served up to us and which we would all enjoy as a family. Things like the Morecambe and Wise shows or Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game. Or, where this one was inspired from - The Two Ronnies. I'm not sure if it was included in the 1976 Christmas Special but it always brings back memories of this time of year and our cosy, slightly old-fashoned Christmases before things like Playstations, the internet and iPods were around to distract us all.

Anyway, for those who still haven't clicked, you can see the TV sketch over on here. Pure class.

Merry Christmas to all you blippers out there, and season's greeting from all us at Delph Wynd Daily.

Proximity to Christmas indicator backup: Kids tuned to the moon; planning what time they will be going to bed, asking why the day is going so slowly, sneaking around looking suspicious, not back-chatting when asked to do any chores... It's great!
