Horny

Fife Countryside Ranger Service uses sheep to manage vegetation at some of its reserves. I was told that they use Jacob Sheep but not sure if this is one or not. It is a fine specimen of a ram who is at Gaddon Loch with a few ewes for company.

An interesting day at Birnie and Gaddon Lochs.
A barnacle goose has been in residence for over two weeks now. It may be a migrant who has forgotten to go home, or it may be an escapee from captivity.
Also saw a pair of black-caps and a male reed bunting.
Several green-veined white butterflies around along with some orange-tips.
