Another barn

This barn has a huge picture on the other side of the roof- the side seen from the highway. This is the reverse, seen from the side road. Obviously the farmer who commissioned this roof didn't want to waste money and doll up both sides. I had a friend in the car today so didn't stop on the highway side to take a picture of the better roof design. I usually only do that when I'm alone, for safety reasons. And there are actually several roofs in our area with this type of decoration (our house used to be one) but we are all slowly replacing them with the more traditional (and far cheaper) roofing shingles.
