Cow parsley

The cow parsley is opening out and growing thickly all along the lanes and hedgerows now. I'm not sure if cows actually like eating it.?
The forecast for our neck of the woods was rain for today, but it did not come and various people seemed bemused by this, particularly our tree surgeon and a fencing contractor I spoke to, who might have planned their day differently had they known!
Maybe we shouldn't rely on our weather apps quite so much after all.
