laurie with a faint hot-chocolate smile on another trip to the beach. nice to have a full 'normal' weekend at home. the kids are getting little bored of me disappearing every couple of days. i wouldn't want to be anything other than there for mum when she needs me, but it's tricky when you have little people who need you around too. thank god for my in-laws, they've been absolute stars, and g too. the kids as well really, taking it all in their stride.
