49: 100 Days of Happiness

More wine!!!

So we have the first two batches of apple juice wine we ever made (which smell very much like cider so I suspect will be scrumpy rather than wine). We also went to Wilko tonight and Craig spent £130 (despite the 25% off sale!!!) on another 5 demijohns, two kit wines & other bits and bobs. The two kit wines are the red wines on the right. One's black cherry and the other is elderberry. They're fermenting pretty actively, and are supposedly 21 day kit wines. I think I'd probably rather keep them until 3 months before drinking though, I've heard they mellow and taste much better if you do.
