Building Work

Today’s picture shows how far the builders have got since starting work this morning; the GOG has posted a picture taken at the start of the day.

The GOG had a Papworth hospital appointment this afternoon and when we returned, I was amazed at how much work they had completed while we were out. The various materials, which they removed, have been temporarily dumped in heaps in different parts of the garden, where they will not impede work in progress. I was amazed at the state of the lawn and the grass in the orchard although I am told that it will grow again.

Dougal and Florence have not been allowed out all day, but have watched from various windows. They were allowed out to investigate once the men and machinery had stopped for the day.
