Iris

A glorious day, unexpectedly clear and bright. I worked much of the day in the garden. George came over, he is replacing the electric cabling between the house and the garage. He is a treasure who will turn his hand to most practical tasks. Just as well since I am not very good at electricity or engineering.
Anyway the irises are just coming into flower. This one is called "Langport Wren". Chelsea are playing Atletico Madrid in the semi final of the Champions League (European Cup as was) tonight. That's me glued to the box and holding my breath...sorry if I don't give many responses, I will try and catch up tomorrow!
