East Coasting

Late afternoon drinks

A couple of quiet drinks on the back patio this evening and the view looked really
nice with the cresent moon and the birds all settled down in their various special trees for the night. No doubt the view was enhanced by the couple of glasses of champas - a very nice one given to us by friends - "Bootprint, Barossa, Cuvee Blanch NV". Nicest one I've had for a long time - much nicer than the cheapies I usually buy:)
We are off again tomorrow, first to Brisbane to pick up the littlies from school and daycare, then when their parents get home, we are off with them all to Noosa on the Sunshine Coast where J. and A. are going to a wedding and we are babysitting. It used to be our old stomping ground for holidays in the 60's and 70's when it was beautiful and unspoilt. Now it is the haunt of the beautiful, spoilt and rich:) Oh well, it will be nice to check out all the old haunts - the beautiful beach and rainforests will still be there. In the 70's there were lots of topless and naked girls in the surf for A. to purve on but I think it's all very upmarket now - how times have changed!
