Listening to the story

Since the start of this year we've been reading bedtime stories all together as a family, rather than each child having a separate parent and stories. On the whole it still works well, but my son hasn't always been able to pay attention to the chapter books that my daughter is now enjoying. All has changed this week, however, with the start of a new story - George's Marvellous Medicine, by Roald Dahl. My son has been attentive, lying with his a Daddy and taking in every word. It's been wonderful to watch :)
