Thomas Hardy's House

Woke to rain this morning and likely to continue. Decided to go to Dorchester, visited the museum and the remains of a Roman House.

Thankfully the rain eased. Visited the house of Thomas Hardy on the way back. A really lovely spot, so peaceful. The house is really quite small with very low ceilings for a family of 6 children. The guy in the shot is a volunteer to help with the garden and inside the house were four very knowledgable volunteers too.
