Grey Herons Nesting.

Here you can see three rather large heron chicks waiting for breakfast.

I took my life in my hands walking on a slip road this morning as there are about 20 nesting pairs of grey herons near the motorway in very high trees.
I do wish they would nest somewhere sensible! Fortunately no police were informed. I had previously taken some less risky shots of the swans on "Swan Lake" which you can also see in Flickr if you like.
