Day of the Triffids

I took my spring coat off its peg for the first time this year yesterday…and left it there again this morning. I think the weather gods had something of a funny turn yesterday…only to suddenly come to their senses and realise us Brits'd all be much happier with drizzle, cloud and plunging temperatures. Either that, or we somehow managed to use up our entire allotment of spring in one sunny afternoon...
