Happy to see you!

Kittiwakes at Dunbar harbour this evening. We are very lucky to have these lovely seabirds nesting right by the harbour, other colonies are far from people on remote cliffs. They build their nests on tiny ledges and fly off for a wing-stretch now and again, circling around and returning in this startling and noisy display of flying expertise and celebration of their bond.

Work this morning in Edinburgh (wet cycle to work! but good to stretch my legs). Time with the children this afternoon, then took them along to Swimming Club and I spent a bit of time at the harbour. And tomorrow my train and plane to France. Excited!
