'Countryside Dusk'

Busy today at work. An early start, a late finish and a lot of driving.

Had a meeting up at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University to meet with the clients for the Mechanics of Solids project. Very interesting to see all of their concrete and soils testing equipment. We took a detailed briefing which took a couple of hours this afternoon, now to transfer the notes into Meeting Minutes and drawings.

I made a quick stop off on the way back to Melbourne just as the sun was setting on a mostly rainy and cold day today.

Met MsMun and the kids at a new Japanese Cafe in Diamond Creek for dinner. The food was great, the service was not so. But then again, they have only opened up their doors two weeks ago, so they're probably still feeling their way a bit. They need a good manager.
