I must confess to having one, though I have tried on several occasions to do without. They're expensive, and they go wrong which is another big expense. And they pollute. And it's more relaxing to sit back in a bus or a train. And they get in the way of your photo. Try taking a picture of a street without a car- and without photoshop.
