Two Shags

Had an absolutely brilliant trip to Farne Islands today. Clear blue skies, bit chilly and quite choppy on the boat, but such a memorable day.

There were a few shags sat on nests on one of the islands. They were within touching distance, I don't have a long lens but was able to get this close.

If you are ever in the north east, take a diversion to Seahouses and take a boat across to the Farne Islands, you will not be disappointed. Unless it's foggy, or raining.....
