It was first over the line!!

I unearthed two enormous slugs in a bag of potting compost today.. no sooner had they emerged onto the warm stones than they were off... this one reaching about 4.5 inches long!!! It didn't hang around and positively steamed off to find a cool dark place to hide again..

Off to have a slug of beer now.. it's hot working out in the garden !!
