What am I?

Today's early shift was tough. But I squirled my way through it and ended up at home again. This flower is growing in the front garden, beautiful colour and very alien like flowers. But I have no idea what it is.

Gorgeous, plumber bloke of mine was out with the dogs so I did the good wife thing and tidied. He was soon home and as I was still in tidy mode, he went out and cut the grass...and for the first time I experienced his grass mowing walk. It is really very amusing :)
