Into the light ...

Literally every man and his dog was out to enjoy the glorious sunshine in Prospect Park today. We gave our new kite a successful maiden flight, and my children are getting more adept at skateboarding on cobblestone paths.

Last year we sat next to a very orderly group of adults drinking champagne from glass flutes and sitting quietly on a picnic blanket. The police came up and made them tip it all out. We learnt a valuable lesson that day. We now decant our drink into takeaway coffee cups when we head to the park!
