In full bloom....

Hubby and I are visiting my mum for the holiday weekend. This azalea has been a feature of her Spring garden for at least 20 years. It's at least five feet by five feet and is covered in this deep pinkish red blossom. It would be bigger but is now restricted from expanding further by the garden shed. The whole garden is pretty amazing. I'd love to transport it 150 miles north!

We've had a great day with morning coffee in the garden centre at Brechin, lunch with mum at Blairmains at the foot of the Ochils, and now a tasty supper in Bannockburn, with a glass or two, and a good blether. Blessed!
