Clarinet and double bass

The choirs, street bands, dance bands and jazz bands involved in the last few days’ festivities celebrating 25 years of Oxford-Grenoble twinning gathered for a final concert in the town hall then squeezed into a restaurant for sausages and mash together and, inevitably, a jam session. Tables were stood on, a double bassist became a pianist while a violinist took up the trumpet, and massed singing happened. It’s been a good few days.
