@RiscaRFC - Champions of Division 3

What a great game today. Risca needed a win today to become Division 3 Champions but they faced stiff opposition in the form of Pontypool United.

I've never been to united's ground before today and i was very impressed with their set up.

The game kicked off in lovely sunshine and Risca where just as hot. It wasn't long before they started to put points on the board. Pontypool just couldn't stop Risca's power and gave away penalty after penalty including a few yellow cards. Its seemed a mountain needed to be climbed.

So after some stern words from the Pontypool coach things started to turn and Risca was soon on the end of some Potnypool pressure.

After that, the game evened a little, but Risca always had the upper hand and eventually won, final score Pontypool United 33 Risca 50.

Risca became the Champions of Division 3 and will now be promoted straight into Division 1 due to some jiggery pokery by the WRU.
