8:30am and making Mrs theWeir a cup of tea. I realise now that when making tea, the bag and milk should not be in the cup at the same time. I don't drink tea, so I was not aware of that. A new nugget of information there.

Saturday. Day of dog walking, retail assessing, child feeding, long cycle-riding and in the end, impromptu neighbour-hosting.

Did my last big training ride in advance of the Etapé next weekend. I'm really looking forward to the event. All the more poignant given the events of the last week.
