For Asparagus

Well here it is then, the first of the new season's crop of asparagus!

It will be a few days before it really gets going and then it can be picked more seriously.

I once did an experiment to see the shortest time it would take from growing in the garden to being cooked (steamed) and ready to eat.

It was about ten minutes and it tasted delicious!

Perhaps I should get out more!
