Escape to the country ..

I seem to be suffering from post op blues .. not improved by the flipping neighbour, who(for the third year in a row) got tree surgeons in to cut down some of his remaining trees, right in the middle of the nesting season.

Both the noise and the appalling thoughtlessness of it all drove me from the house - and in spite of being variously advised not to drive for 2/4/6 weeks, I headed to the country.

I didn't stay out long, and as I'm long lensless at the moment, I give you the first macro shot of the year ..
