Manndalen, Norway.

We arrived today to our next destination: Manndalen, Norway.
This is a small town in Norway, quite near Finland. We'll stay in these small "fishermans cottages" for next three nights.
Right when we came to the north Finland and to Norway, the views changed: every mountain we saw was even higher than the last one. The views are amazing! I think I've never been in such a beautiful place =) The road what gets us here, goes just beside the Arctic Ocean and lot of mountains.
On our way to Norway, we drove through Tornio city. We saw a sign, that said “Rapid after 2km”. We decided to make a quick pause in there and go see the rapids. Didn’t have no clue what kind of rapids we’re looking for. Well, the rapids was called “Kukkolankoski” which is the biggest free flowing rapid in Finland and also in the Northern Europe. The rapid is 3500meters long and it’s falling height is 13,5 meters. Wow, didn’t know nothing about this place. I’m glad we saw the road sign and decided to stop =)
Our journey was about 650km but it did go fast while listening the “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”- book from cd =)
