I’d been to Cyprus three times before and had always fancied going to the tip of the Karpas peninsula. It was a long drive, 55 miles from Bogaz to land's end, and we couldn’t have done it without a 4x4. We passed beautiful bays used by turtles to lay their eggs, later in the year.
