Tuscan mists

Alarm got us up at 4.30am, for a 5am drive out to the Belvedere, the iconic Tuscan house-on--hill. En route, we drove past this view near Montalchino. Arrived at the Belvedere in thick fog, so turned the cars round and returned to this viewpoint. Totally spoiled for choice - one of the most magical times I've had in Tuscany in the past 7 years!

Wedid get back to the Belvedere after, when the mist / fog dissipated - but it wasn't a patch on this!
