Gus on the charge

After the excitement of watching Crewe win yesterday, Gus was playing for Junior Reds Spartans in a SELKent league shield under-13s match against Hayden Youth.

In a one-sided contest, Gus scored twice and set up another in the first half as Reds led 6-0 at half-time.

He scored his third with a run from half-way (this shot was taken as he set off) before smashing the ball into the roof of the net from about 12 yards.

He provided 'assists' for two more, as Reds won 14-1.
