"Sod's Law"

It was M's very first visit to Arran, so we had made offerings to the weather gods in the hope of a dazzling weekend. Ha ha ha! Friday morning .... gorgeous then clouding over as the time of her arrival approached. Saturday, Sunday and this morning a mix of cloudy, chilly, misty, drizzly with a flicker of brightness here and there. On the way to the ferry ..... well of course the sun comes out again, albeit briefly.

Weather gods, what does it take to make you behave yourself? But do your worst, because we know she'll be back!
