Oxleas Wood

Tim and I decided to have a little explore of the local area today, and drove up Shooters Hill to Oxleas Wood. We'd been thinking of going for a 'proper walk' in the countryside but were both feeling a bit knackered after yesterday's climbing, so we decided a gentle mooch was a better plan. It was a beautiful morning, and Oxleas didn't disappoint - some lovely (and quite ancient) woodland to wander through, and then the surprise of coming out into this clearing with a fancy fountain and terrace. Plenty of bluebells still out in the woods, too.

Yet more copying of files onto my new computer this afternoon, plus a bit of soup-making (celery and carrot - delicious!) Tim ordered our new internal doors today, too - can't wait to get them put in the flat. I'm sure I'll be blipping them when they're in...!
