Reflecting

In the Scottish Portrait gallery today. I read poems in this area of the gallery, which are thoughtfully there in a few books for the public to enjoy. This is Hugh MacDiarmid.
Picnic on a bench in Princes street gardens with bagpipes to serenade us while enjoying the beautiful view of old Edinburgh.
Staring in delight at the new trams taking practise runs.
Holding hands on the train home with my dear Scotsman.
Dinner with neighbours and an evening walk on a beautiful still night. Into bed with plenty to read and lovely music. Bliss.
