Where the Light Gets In

Fishing boats, Paimpol

We went to Paimpol yesterday (Monday); arrived there around lunchtime, had a little walk around the in-town harbour before sitting down at a restaurant's terrace.

Another walk afterwards, then we took the car again to visit the environs, including a small tower (Tour de Kerroc'h) built in the 19th century topped with a statue of the Holy Family. From the first level of the tower, we had a very nice view of the bay of Paimpol.

We then went on to a quite desert pebbled beach, then to an abbey (Beauport Abbey) where I visited the grounds while Julie was having a rest in the car. Back to Paimpol for a crepe, then back home.
