Lazing with the daisy....

This is one of the 16 I spotted a few days ago. And there are still 16 of them!!

I was allowed to get a little closer today. Mum was still being protective but they were more confident youngsters.

I also saw 3 Great Crested Grebe young with their parents. One was desperate to hitch a ride and looked quite comical on on the back of one of the adults when it managed to hop aboard. I've uploaded this shot in my blipfolio.

Another lovely walk around the lake today - warm and sunny.

Just checked and I'm one day early on last year's cute gosling shot!
