Third Year Abroad

After attempting some revision for my forthcoming Italian literature exam, this is where we headed for aperitivo. A little classier than the usual places on Navigli. Its called Gattopardo Cafe and is admittedly a bit of a trek as its located all the way on the other side of the Parco Sempione. This was made worse by it being the Festa dei Lavoratori (like a bank holiday but before the weekend) and all the transport stopping between 7 and 7:30. Unfortunately I hadn't taken this into consideration and so had a small nightmare getting there. Managed to get a bus to the park, realised I'd missed the last tram, had to power walk through the park and managed to pick up another one on the other side which was pretty lucky. Just glad I hadn't decided to wear heels. The bar itself is absolutely stunning, it even turns into a club later in the evening but we seen realised that the other clientele were a little older (and wealthier) than us, so we headed back toward the park after aperitivo. Visited a chupiteria for rainbow shots and 'maxi' cocktails before heading to the Club. Again.
