Makeover

On Saturday is the rehearsal for my son's wedding at the village church. There will be people calling in or staying so I decided to give the bathroom a makeover.
It's having a new floor covering on Thursday so last night I got the carpet up. Unfortunately it pulled up bits of the cork tiles beneath so I had to remove them. Apart from the bits that came up with the carpet the rest were fixed firmly to the floor boards. It was a terrible job with a chisel to get them up.
Today has been painting the woodwork in preparation for the new flooring. As with any diy it turned into a much bigger job than I expected.
Now the cistern has started leaking .......!
