Jardin du Luxembourg + 1914-1918

Outing to the Jardin du Luxembourg, for a wonderful display of recent color photographs of the sites of battles in the First World War, on the fence outside. In the park itself there was a display of a huge map showing the frontiers and armistice line in 1918 at the end of the war.

That display was behind the building of the French Senate, which I show in this blip, with flowers in the foreground and persons around the map display, in the middle ground. The park is in the full flower of spring, looking just exquisite in every direction.
