Bridging

Went bridge hunting on bank holiday Monday, more particularly for this bridge.

The first bridge in the shot was built by the Romans as a packhorse bridge, nobody really knows when though. Could be 500 years old, could be 1500, either way its old & a grade II listed bridge.

Was it easy to find? No.. I was literally in the middle of nowhere. I mean nowhere!

Was getting down by the riverside easy? No.. A few barbed fences were straddled.

Does it compare to modern-day bridges? No.. But ain't it pretty.

Hopefully my shoes are dry now.
