We'd normally be away on a May bank holiday, but events this year have transpired against us. Anyway, looking at it positively, it gave us the opportunity to take O to Knutsford Fair which was celebrating its 150th year.

I'm quite a fan of fairgrounds to be honest, something that can't said of G. Now, after the longest and fastest ride on the Waltzer that I've ever had, she's not likely to alter her opinion anytime soon! O, on the other hand, as you'd expect of any 8 year old, thinks it all brilliant.

So, after bumpers, ghost trains and dodgy sideshow stalls, (as well as the 'killer' Waltzer) we came away cheery and in possession of a new pet……meet Freddie.
