I travelled home today from East Lothian, and the roads were OK , apart from the hassle of having to stop all the time to clean the windscreen. The snow which was on the car at the beginning of the journey was still there at the end - how cold is that??

I have always been OK with the A9, although I know that it is a notoriously bad road. When I phoned Jim tonight to tell him I had arrived OK, he told me I had missed some bad moments on the A9 - it is ALWAYS bad to feel grateful for things like these......
