Last year we had so many bugs and critters around I was spoilt for choice.

This year there's been hardly anything, so a little hoverfly having a rest from hovering seems quite a treat.

For those fly haters amongst you (you know who you are); this is one of the good guys. They don't come inside, and they do eat lots of nasties in the garden.
