Busy Day

With the fishing (tinny) boat being fixed yesterday there were no excuses. The kids had to go fishing, now. So at 7am we sorted gear and headed out. Myself, Uncle Phil, Michael, Hannah, Adam and Oliver. Hannah was the first to catch a fish - on her brand new (pink) rod - caught all by herself. Sadly we couldn't keep it, or in fact any of the fish. But it was fun.

Then back into the bay at 10. A quick breakfast, then out in another boat to get a few scallops. Fantastic, I had my share (40) in around 10 minutes, so saved the air for another day.

Then back to the bay, and then back into the tinny, towing the kids around on the new inflatable shark. Hannah loved it, as did mummy, Adam was less sure but warmed to it. Then it was grown up time ? water skiing, and it was a personal triumph to get up first time on a single ski - yay!

Then back into the bay and their grandparents are taking all the kids out on the big boat tonight, so preparations. They have now gone, so it?s all the ?young? ones. More water skiing, fishing, wines, dinner; and a very relaxing evening! In fact, the girls spent the evening on the deck sipping champagne, the boys went fishing, as you see here.

A busy day, but the first true holiday day - simply fabulous.

Just back blipped a few days - the quality could be pretty average - very very slow mobile internet here.
