...well he would like to think so but I must admit its a lot faster than what I would be able to do on roller blades.

My oldest in this shot is undertaking a course he set up to time himself - to see how fast he can complete it - and he is doing well. The times have been improving all along.

Its all part of "The Duke of Edinburgh" bronze award that he is trying to achieve. Various components he has to complete in order to achieve the certificate - one of these is the sporting challenge which he has set himself, another is an overnight expedition which he is looking forward too.

I got him to pitch the tent last night which he was able to do...and more importantly, he was able to pack it away afterwards......now if he can do that on the night and the following morning then all will be well!!
