In Charge of Chocolate

Tonight saw the first of the John Carr race series

John Carr was a member of our running club, St Bedes as it was then , who died young and suddenly

Every year Saltaire Striders , as we are now , host a series of 5k runs on the first three weds of May

The run is flat and fast and takes in the views around Esholt ( where the original Woolpack is, where they used to film Emmerdale ).

We were marshalling, the girls weren't that keen until they knew it involved chocolate management duties .

A great race, a buzzing atmosphere and good to see so many members of Saltaire Striders and Bradford parkrun there

Any local blip friends , come along next week or the week after, after all there is chocolate !
