Hiding its light under the bush-el

I am still deciding whether to go for extension tubes or close up lenses for macro work until I can get my old SLR lenses which (I hope) are still in Australia. Consequently have to put macro work on hold. Or do I? These bees today were so huge that I thought that if I take my time and carefully focus, I must be able to get something??? Trouble with bees is that they don´t stay on one flower for very long, so I found out. Probably not news to everyone else. Anyway, I ended up with a bee with a nice rear end and some nicely textured wings hiding under a party hat.
