Marigold, today's challenge.........

The Oxford English Dictionary defines marigold as plants of the daisy family with yellow, orange or copper brown colouring or it is a word used to describe other plants of similar colouring.

Today's interpretation is the colour, which I found in this marigold sash in a Dutch Old Master at the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam. It is a very small section of a painting which is seven metres long, depicting the civil guard.
