Belated White Christmas

We didn't have a White Christmas this year...but Mother Nature surprised us with a snowfall today...that came faster and stayed longer than anyone thought possible. After all, the weatherman had just predicted rain...so when the flakes started falling today we thought "oh pooh...nothing to worry about!" We ended up with a couple of inches, but it was enough to make the roads slick and impassable in some areas! You can see the big flakes falling around the beautiful tree in our front yard.

Thankful my husband made it home, that our son and daughter-in-law made it to his sister's house ok, and thankful that our daughter, son-in-law and grands made it home safely about the same time...at least we are all safely ensconced in our homes...happy and warm.
