Reminder...

I discovered this drowned Monarch Butterfly in the pond this morning. Sadly, it appears that something disturbed it in it's Chrysalis stage of development. The wings never opened fully and this is how I found it, a crumpled carcass...never to fly freely in the wind. I must continue to remind myself that all of what is born cannot survive. And that death is indeed a part of life.
