Not the best of days

Mr M and I had declared Friday a day off and had thought up all sorts of nice ideas about things we could do together. Unfortunately with Mr M being away a lot at the moment we actually spent most of the day running round catching up on chores.. or would have done had the car not conked out in the supermarket car park. We're not doing very well with cars at the moment! Spending half the afternoon stranded in a car park with the AA man was not quite how I had planned to spend the day.

When we finally got home we decided that we would salvage at least something of the day by going for an evening stroll somewhere local.. We then spent 45 minutes in the car driving round trying to find somewhere local to go for a walk!!! We gave up eventually and just came home and watched telly.

So much for my nice day off!
